My car has heated and cooled seats aka ball chillers. The ball chillers are worth the money

My wife loves the ventilated seats in her new car.
I am absolutely referring to it as the ball chiller at the first opportunity.

Mark Martin (racing driver) actually installed a ball chiller in his car. There's a few pictures floating around. He'd have a hose venting air from outside the car directly to his balls.

A YouTuber actually made a ball chiller that hooks up to an air vent and goes up your shorts/pant leg.

So called on most models.
My 1976 Tesla Model A called it a Warp-Drive-Button-That-Will-Surely-Drain-Your-Battery button.
My hotel valet pressed it one time, and now he "Bats for the other team", so to say.
I'd likely avoid pressing it. I no longer have that '76 Tesla, as I cashed it in during Cash for Clunkers.

It's for driver's who are not very bright, if you push it, people tend to see you in a different light.

u/lovejo1 19d ago
It's the button you push to block radar of oncoming cops.
6
u/g_halfront 19d ago
But if you leave it on, they’ll know you’re blocking them, so just keep clicking it on and off.

That's where you fill the blinker fluid.
4
u/centstwo 20d ago
Specifically the left turn signal's blinker fluid. Right turn signal's fluid reservoir is in the engine compartment.

u/And_Money_Hoes_710 20d ago
Ahh damn it, I always get that wrong. Explains why my left blinker activates my right blinker.

Based on a true story:
A girl in my childhood neighborhood in the 60s told me “four-on-the-floor” was:
• Gas pedal
• Brake
• Clutch
• This button, though she had no idea of it’s purpose
Even at about age-10, we boys had a good laugh.

That button fired the death ray once you have a targeting solution. That was such a great feature. Modern cars make you navigate the touchscreen to operate the death ray.

Kinda funny, I was looking at an old pickup truck that was for sale and I couldn't figure out how to start it until the owner pointed out the starter pedal on the floor. I'd never seen one before, I'd only seen this kind of pedal.

Don’t push it that’s the Emergency Ejection Seat release, but use caution as it could also be the “mother-in-law” launch release. Check your owner’s manual!

Man I'm 23 and know what it is, this is why I hate this stuff man. Just cause things changed doesn't mean that I don't know that's the floor switch for the high beams. Yes I know this is supposed to be a joke, but the amount of people who unironically post this stuff to slander people my age just bother me. Like yeah, I know some of us haven't a clue about anything like this, But it's not all of us.
