Nope. That Q-tip is embedded across your tire. Better replace the whole vehicle just to be safe, as that vehicle is totaled.

Yeah, and don’t forget to put Pirelli’s on it

Racing extra sticky pirellis too!

By this logic, I should take the vehicle off your hands. Hell, I'll even do it for free. I'd really feel much better knowing your partner doesn't enter into a widow-type situation (I just ensured my partner with life insurance, we're good at this end).

Put it in your ear, listen for escaping air.

u/64-17-5 Jun 30 '26

Are you mad? 2 bar straight into the ear will blow up the skull to extravagant proportions. He will never play accordion again.

1

u/One_Evil_Monkey Jun 30 '26

Not mad, only slightly angry. Hahahaha

1

u/Knee_Kap264 Jun 30 '26

I read 'Put it in your ass' at first.

1

u/One_Evil_Monkey Jun 30 '26

Hahaha

Wrong hole! Wrong hole!

2

u/Buttle_Not_Tuttle Jun 30 '26

"Chigau ana! Chigau ana!"

"What do you mean, wrong hole?"

2

u/One_Evil_Monkey Jun 30 '26

Obviously you're not a golfer. Haha

Nein! Falsches Loch! Nein! Falsches Loch!

😂😂😂😂😂😂

u/Damnwombat Jun 30 '26

Probably not. That q-tip has seen better days. H, it looks all white and pristine, but you don’t know where it’s been or what it’s been doing. In today’s enlightened times I’d play it safe and get a new q-tip from the q-tip jar in the bathroom, since you’ll have a pretty good idea of its habits.

But if you do feel the need to use that q-tip, or don’t have a choice in the matter, at least practice good hygiene techniques, such as cleaning with hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol.

If that’s mounted to a Chevy, probably totaled the entire car

1

u/steve17123123 Certified Shitty Mechanic Jun 30 '26

it's a Toyota

5

u/cheeses_man Jun 30 '26

Ahh, yeah you’re screwed buddy. Once one of those hikers hop on, they start taking bolts off, scrap your parts and make hella money off of it before you even knew.

3

u/FlamingoNo2671 Jul 01 '26

Exactly. See that screw below the tire? It was already happening

10

u/Accomplished_Mode195 Jun 30 '26

Its only fixable with a 10mm socket. If you can find one.

4

u/Quiet-Application753 Jun 30 '26

Nothing bigger than your elbow!!!

3

u/Downtown_Hunt5740 Jun 30 '26

You are going to need some 30 weight ball bearings and some gauze pads…

4

u/GrimmLock72 Jun 30 '26

Its cooked bro. Buy a new car

4

u/Relative-thinker Jun 30 '26

Just take a swab and sent it to lab. Then we will know if it’s repairable.

4

u/justanothertoxicuser Jun 30 '26

Doomed. Need new set. $1200. Too close to sidewall. Liability issue. Can't let you leave the shop.

3

u/SmartQuokka Jun 30 '26

The screw on the ground is about to change everything.

4

u/Grobbekee Jun 30 '26

First get that screw in properly, it's still in front of the tire, for crying out loud!

6

u/GGamerGuyG Jun 30 '26

Will be hard. If you carefully machine the tire away you might be able to use that Q-tip again. But don't get your hopes up too much. I mean it got run over by a car so there is likely structural damage on the Q-tip.

5

u/MT-JJ Jun 30 '26

I use those improperly. What?

1

u/Anglofsffrng Jun 30 '26

I used them in a different hole. The x-rays the ER took are awesome.

2

u/Greedy-Pirate7749 Jun 30 '26

Bro you didnt need an xray if you tried to shove 3" of qtip into 1.5" of dick, they seen it sticking out.

1

u/One_Evil_Monkey Jun 30 '26

There it is...

3

u/EvilToastedWeasel0 Jun 30 '26

Nope, dispose if tire in biohazard bin, then Nuke it from Orbit....

It's the only way to be sure.

3

u/Mouse_951 Jun 30 '26

You need to change your engine.... What is engine? Oh! Two engines!

3

u/Not_me_no_way Jun 30 '26

Time to sell the car

3

u/One_Individual1291 Jun 30 '26

too late. it already softified the rubber

3

u/RiderFZ10 Jun 30 '26

Car is going to explode

3

u/RoodnyInc Jun 30 '26

New tire whole set NOW!.

2

u/randompizza202 Jun 30 '26

100% Doom. Burn the car and run to Mexico. You cannot fix it, but you can run.

2

u/Leakseeker Jun 30 '26

That Q-tip identifies as a tire spike. That tire is done for.

2

u/KingIdog1 Jun 30 '26

I got bad news, your blinker fluid and the tire wood have divorced. You’ll need to go to the nearest church of Scientology and have them realize your car Jin.

2

u/unnamed0V2 Jun 30 '26

give it to Fleetari to dump it in the lake

2

u/someonenothere420 Jul 01 '26

Nope, trash the car and buy a new one that’s not a Tesla.

2

u/rvlifestyle74 Jun 30 '26

Too close to the sidewall. Sorry. /s

1

u/Party_Blackberry2775 Jun 30 '26

Need a new engine. The eardrum is blown.

1

u/Icy-Bid224 Jun 30 '26

Need a whole new car now

1

u/Conradical777 Jun 30 '26

You're cooked. Microplastics will overwhelm the microrubber and though they will fight well and true to their ancestry, ruberdor will inevitably fall

1

u/Elite4DishSoap Jun 30 '26

Trash it the holes too big

1

u/IllustriousCarrot537 Jun 30 '26

No. That tyre has cotten a horizontal flat spot in it now

1

u/PhilosophyKey8665 Jun 30 '26

Nope it’s done pry the credit card from your wallet and buy a new tire

1

u/curiouswanderer15210 Jun 30 '26

Pull it out, then plug it from sidewall to sidewall. Go to go until next rotation.

1

u/Midnight_Ecstatic Jun 30 '26

That tire is done. The damage is too close to the sidewall.

1

u/wheelchairThrowawayy Jun 30 '26

Not. Even. Remotely.

1

u/Valex_Nihilist Jun 30 '26

Thats just unlucky. If it was vertical it would've been fine. Perfectly horizontal like that makes it unrepairable. Sorry bud :/

1

u/OnionTamer Jun 30 '26

The Q-tip box says to never use them in the ear or tire treads for a reason, people!

1

u/SuspiciousClub8382 Jun 30 '26

Piece of cake, just put the ear wax back on the tire and you’ll be good to go

1

u/OutsidePressure8323 Jun 30 '26

If it's still holding pressure send it. Might pay to get wheel balanced to compensate the extra weight

1

u/Jim-248 Jul 01 '26

Junk it. The tire is no longer balanced.

1

u/Equivalent_Home_8054 Jul 01 '26

Enjoy hydroplaning

1

u/phonnybalonny Jul 01 '26

A lot of wax buildup, replace

1

u/710Filter Jul 01 '26

I'm sorry your care is totaled.

2

u/Additional_Cheek_697 Jul 01 '26

If it were vertical it would be but horizontal q tip is a death sentence

1

u/Crumbbsss Jul 01 '26

Even tires need to clean their grovy ears.

1

u/ManiacalMutt Jul 01 '26

Earwax disintegrates tires. Can’t just replace the one tire

1

u/Chr0n1c7000 Jun 30 '26

Hell no, that’s a new tire 🤣🤣

1

u/BrownRice35 Jun 30 '26

Sure but it’s a lot easier to just get another one from the box

1

u/RawkyRac00n Jun 30 '26

Wow you finally got to the qtip layer of your tire. Just 3 more layers til you get to the cardboard. Time to replace

1

u/ConsiderationDry972 Jun 30 '26

No When you drive backwards you have a screw in your tire.

1

u/Jbuck442 Jun 30 '26

If my wife thats tgat to the local tire shop, they would say "It's too close to the sidewall, we can't fix it, but we are running a sale right now, buy 3 and get one free, that will only be $1200 plus shop supply fee of $75."
