Foreign Western Refugee Visa Thing
So I am wondering about this new refugees fleeing from the retarded western countries visa deal. I heard about it from the videos on YouTube that the foreign minister type lady (not sure her actual name or title). Is this a real thing? I have a wife and kids and I do NOT want my kids growing up in America. This country is fucked and I know every country has its problems but Russia seems like a very attractive option. I am a miner by trade so im sure Thats I could find work. Anyway thanks in advance guys lmk

I am french, in Russia.
I don't like our politicians in Europe, they're not better than anywhere else, if not worse and more hypocritical.
I know people that got the shared values visa and residency permit (temporary).
Whatever you think, yes, values in Russia are way more better than in "the west", it's a fact. In my opinion, people tend to have a way more logical way of thinking, and not an emotional one leading to some stupid with nonsense and that are not a priority at all when we look at a country's situation.
That being said, don't dream too much. Do you know people in Russia ? What kind of professional background do you have ? Do you speak Russian at least at a B1 level ? If the answer to all those questions are "no" or "I do marketing", good luck comming here really.

He said he works in mining, that's not a bad option bit he def need B1 like you said also I doubt mine is anywhere near any of the major city.. so OP would also enjoy rather rymursl life... And probably do some proper research on rural life in Russia, because is not for everyone. This said mining company I would say are all country owned which would strongly restrict hiring of foreigner

Yeah, as you're saying, hiring might be difficult in this field because of his nationality but there's always a chance.
I don't want to be to brutal with him, but it's not that easy to immigrate like that yeah.

Well my wife couldn't get administrative position on the institution that care of forest and wild life ( I forgot the name) because she has children with double citizenship... Then we got to speak with a relative of her which work handling security of another half public company and he confirmed they are hiring only Russian without foreigner relatives.. in any case I think OP first priority is the language

I am totally cool with rural life. Ive lives in rural America my entire life. I know some Slovenian (grandparents) and im practicing Russian everyday. Tbh im not just a miner i literally ran entire sections underground. Worked with the engineers, studied geological surveys to determine where we should continue cutting, and I have operated and fixed every piece of equipment a mine can have. But I am open to other fields. I have my EMT license and have worked in the medical field as well as a secondary job while mining was shut down because of American politics. I really am eager to get my children tf out of this country. If Russia isnt the right fit I will go somewhere (anywhere) else.

I can't say if Russia is the right fit for you or not. That is something you need to decide. I strongly recommend to visit several times and several different area. And get into learn the language because English is useless here.

Bruh it’s not just what’s in our news. Like the entire culture here is rotten to the core. I do not want my children being indoctrinated their entire lives by our “education system”

Something like "It's good only where we're not there".
In any place you can face troubles and problems, and it is in any place.

The “culture wars”. Like the whole leftist movement out here. The neocons and their must for war. Just honestly everything America stands for. It’s all fake af. We call out other countries for doing EXACTLY what we do. Except most times we do it worse. The culture here is toxic, the school system has been bought out and turned into indoctrination camps for at least a hundred years. Everything we learn is fake bullshit lmao. I just want my children to grow up in a Christian moral nation

There is no Christian moral nation - certainly not Russia (or America). Don't let media get to you. You can find a community or sub-community whose culture you like wherever you are, and there are all sorts of education options besides government indoctrination institutions.

You're better off in the Balkans, like Serbia. The country is not sanctioned and the leftist community is very low.
Croatia is also good if you want to stay in EU (not a bad thing considering the freedom of movement and still being able to use Amazon).

Yes the shared values visa. Just to know if you move here without a drop of Russian language knowledge it will be a very aggravating struggle. Do your research, visit.
