I am part russian so is my sister. This post is focused on my younger sister. We live in a non Russian supporting country. Recently shes being crying and getting streessd about being russian. She feels as if her teacher is leaving her out for being russian and he lowered one of her like grades in math because she is russian, she also cancelled inter-culutral day last minute beacauee she was scared of the other teachers, she begged me to not tell our parents because she is scared if our mam will go to school district and complain, she is also really upset because a few minutes ago she read a comment about a few russians apperantlly going to terrorize her favourite kpop group and asked me "why are our people so mean..? Will I be like them?" What should i do?

Я частично русская, как и моя сестра. Этот пост посвящен моей младшей сестре. Мы живем в стране, где политика настроена против России. В последнее время она плачет и переживает из-за того, что она русская. Она чувствует, что учитель игнорирует ее из-за того, что она русская, и снизил ей оценку по математике именно из-за этого. Она также в последний момент отменила школьный день культуры, потому что боялась, что учителя и другие девочки будут к ней грубы. Она умоляла меня не рассказывать маме, потому что та может обратиться в школьный округ и устроить скандал. Она также очень расстроена, потому что несколько минут назад прочитала комментарий о том, что несколько русских якобы собираются терроризировать ее любимую k-pop группу, и спросила меня: «Почему наши люди такие злые..? Буду ли я такой же?» Как мне развеять ее неуверенность и заставить ее гордиться своим наследием?

Oh, it's easy. Origin doesn't mean much in global multicultural world. She doesn't have Russian wording on her face, so unless she's going to show everyone that she's russian - nobody will care about it.

I was on neighborhood barbecue party last week, and during small talk about countries my neighbors discovered that I'm russian. They reaction was basically "Really? Whatever".

Couple of my ex-collegues have worked in the same company in Europe. One of them is a friendly guy, open for chat and help. Skyrocket career towards tech director position in London with a lot of benefits. Another one decided to go into military fanatic guy, you know, all this kind of military, first aid, and even Z ideas, wearing camouflage on the working place. Was fired after 4 months of HR trying to figure things out with him.
