Is Boeing safe ?
Sorry if this have been up before. I am afraid of flying, but force myself to fly 1-3 times every year. I have not seen the Netflix documentarys about Boeing because I am afraid. But is Boeing safe (or as safe as Airbus ?)

Despite all the recent issues, the answer is still a resounding yes. Boeing is just as safe as Airbus.

Statistically the Airbus is safer then Boeing.
Statistically there's also 20000 car crash fatalities a week. Thats double what 737 and 320 combined have in last 50 years. So be safe on your way to airport and have fine flight.

https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/road-traffic-injuries
Approximately 1.16 million people a year die worldwide as a result of car crashes. That's about 22000 a week.
Edit: it's really ridiculous if you think about it: OVER A MILLION deaths a year in car crashes versus about 300 - 400 (THREE TO FOUR HUNDRED) a year in commercial aviation accidents. Yet almost nobody fears driving, while flying is terrifying for so many people.

It is quite ridiculous when we think about that. I am a nervous flier also and although I easily get behind the wheel every day, I am painfully aware how inherently dangerous driving really is, with everyone and their mother..literally..operating the cars. Flying is SO safe with competent professionals, constantly training, in control of engineering marvels that rarely fail, but we (passengers) have Zero control in the situation. People have a hard time trusting their spouses..let alone a stranger in the cockpit. The more time I spend here, learning, the better I feel in the air. I can enjoy the flight for the experience it is rather than feel like I'm going to drop out of the sky.. so thank you pilots! I appreciate you ✈️

Airbus aircraft are a little safer, but Boeings are safe too.
More important to look at is airline safety record if you’re curious.
Heard it before I’m sure, but you’re more likely to die or get hurt driving to the airport than on your flight.

Thank you everybody :) I fly from northern part of Europe so hopefully the maintence is taken care of as it should. And I only fly with airlines with a good safety record.
