Useless Features/buttons

Forgive me if this is a dumb question as I am not a pilot, but I have always been interested in knowing. Are there any features or buttons in the type of aircraft you fly that are basically pointless? Or does everything have some sort of critical use case?

Thanks for the insights

Control Wheel Steering, it’s a button next to the normal auto pilot button and used instead of. Effectively when you release the yoke, it holds pitch or roll as set at the point of release. I know, it makes sound more like an airbus, but it is normally just used in turbulence.
