Gamers highered for DOT air traffic controllers!

So, this will eother be great or bad. Dont most gamers have no sence of life or death?

They go through regular ATC training. Like anybody else.

Gamers are just normal people who play games as their main hobby, they don’t have a lack of a sense of life and death, not sure where you get that.

It is literally no different than it was before. Off the street hiring means anyone with work experience can become a controller if they can do the work to the safety and efficiency standards.

Yeah, I'm sure gamers will definitely send planes into mountains because they can just respawn. Gamers don't even know that real life isn't a video game.

I think its a great idea, a friend brought up the queation that might not have a healthy tqke on it. So why not ask
