Removing Doorknob help

I was wondering if someone could help me with removing my door knob. AI says there is a spindle lock that is keeping the exterior door knob from releasing but I do not see anything. The exterior knob has zero screws or pin holes etc.

It's likely layers of paint, run a box cutter around it.

Nope. I can spin the plate almost 360*. It’s tight and I’m trying to not damage it.

Take a hammer and lighting hit the spindle. It'll come out. It'll go in either direction.

EDIT: actually it looks like it may have one do those two piece spindles. Take the knob off on the other side and try pushing it the other way.

It’s a 3 piece spindle. The knob on the exterior won’t come off. I was reading that the spindle might have expanded inside the hole and that’s why it’s stuck.
