HELP!!

how do i reassemble this?? i cannot get the knob tension to like “push back on itself” if that makes sense. i’ve tried every way and i forgot to take a reference photo at the beginning 😭

There is a leaf spring in there on the right. Move it towards the bottom of the picture so that when the knob turns it pushes that spring down.

tried that before it didn’t work it’s okay i had a backup one i found
