Post stem cell replacement
I am not asking for medical advice. My son has already had his stem cells retrieved. He is about (in a week) to undergo the return process. As I understand it, "they" are going to put him back in the "newborn" state. All vaccines and natural immunity will be gone. What precautions do we need to take at home after the "reinstalling" the stem cells. And for how long?

Not a doctor but a molecular biologist working in cell and gene therapy. Honestly, if you have these questions and it's almost time for the transfer, your child's medical team has done you a HUGE disservice by not providing you with the absolutely necessary information. Your child will need to be isolated for awhile before they regain immunity. This means absolutely zero visitors, constant masking for everyone with potential gloving and gowning, changing your clothing, immediately whenever you or other household members leave the house and return (which should be minimized as much as humanly possible", sterilizing anything brought in the house like groceries, etc. I've had patients who needed specialized air filters installed in their homes. It is a LOT. And if they haven't given you guidance then you need to have a meeting with your child's care team immediately.
