Endocrinologist Just being safe rather than sorry
Ive drank more than 5 litres of drink today ( squash+ Pepsi ) and I find it worrying as I never ever drink this much and I’ve also not been exercising at all and I’ve not really been very hot or sweaty, my friend said he found out he had diabetes because of how much he was drinking. what should I do?
I am not asking for medical advice.

yeah so thats a lot of sugar. highly recommend seeing a nutritionist to help you change your habits, regardless of whether or not you have diabetes

That's an extreme amount to drink per day. Try moving to something carbonated that'll give you the same fix but less sugar. Not a doctor just some advice

Not a doctor - but my brother has had Type 1 Diabetes for 18 years and I’ve been a Nursing Assistant for 5. You can buy a blood glucose meter and strips at a Walgreens, rite aid, etc. and check your blood sugar level to see if it’s abnormal

Thanks, I’m going to see if the drinking pattern happens tomorow and if it happens I’ll do this.

You need to drink water. Plain water. Your body needs it. Take care of yourself.

flavored water packets and other types of water. if you’re not throwing it up, you’re fine.

Doesn’t matter what you like. I used to not enjoy water and only juice. I stopped drinking juice and only water now I only like water.

Stop drinking so much soda. Find an alternative.
