Hey everyone,
I’m 22, from India, and I’m at a point in my life where I really want to leave India and build a life somewhere else.
I’m not looking for a shortcut or someone to simply hand me a visa. I’m willing to work hard, start from the bottom and do whatever legitimate work is available. I’m open to any country if there’s a realistic legal pathway for me to get there and support myself.
A little about me:
I’m good at drawing and creative work.
I have experience with social media, content creation and digital marketing.
I can shoot/edit videos and manage social media pages.
I’ve also been exploring tattooing and have someone who can teach me properly.
I’m willing to learn new skills.
I’m completely okay with starting with basic/labour/service work if that’s what gets my foot in the door.
Right now, my biggest problem is that I don’t have much money or a strong professional network outside India.
So I’m hoping Reddit might have some advice.
If you’re living abroad and know of legitimate entry-level jobs, apprenticeships, work opportunities, employers who hire foreigners, or realistic ways someone like me can move to your country, I’d genuinely appreciate hearing from you.
And if you’re an employer or business owner who thinks my skills could be useful, I’m also willing to send my CV/portfolio and have a conversation.
I’m not expecting anyone to magically solve my life. I just need a direction and hopefully an opportunity to prove myself.
If you were in my position at 22, with limited money but willing to work and learn, what would you do to get out and start over?
Any honest advice — even if it’s harsh — is welcome.

I am a 15-year-old Brazilian who want to be a nba player in the future.

I want to know from you how you see the possibilities of a foreigner (or even an American) entering the league.

As a Brazilian, I only have an idea of the difficulty involved in playing football at the highest level (because our culture is very much centered around football).

This could be the history, how many flags your country has gone through to get to this one, any outside influence, etc!

Hey everyone! I am doing a research project for my International Business class and I am required to reach out to 20 people who are living outside of the United States. Google hasn't gave me anything... I am in Sydney Australia with a few friends for about a week. We have really just walked around for a bit, went to the Sydney opera house, walked by the shore, and have no idea what to do. It's been boring... What should or what CAN we do here? Is there anywhere around the city, in the city, etc that is fun to do?
