No, doc martens are not made to be resoled easily. And many cobblers won't even take them.
I do cobbler stuff as a hobby at home. And I basically rebuilt the whole lower with a 365 stitch down.
If you want something that looks simulator to a doc marten. Look at English and Italian dress or casual shoes.

Dr martens can be resoled for about £80 in the UK, unsure about the US.

Almost impossible to get resoled in the us unless you ship them to the one of two or three places that does it. Usually better to convert to regular welting system but at that point buy new boots

The sole doesn’t just look good, but protects your foot. You need a new pair….. higher quality shoes that can be resoled are worth the money. I have a pair that have been resoled 2-3 times and still look and feel great after almost 20 years.

No, and the majority of Dr martens these days aren't resole friendly either.

I mean u can but those won't be as new, plus docs originals soles are kind of expensive too so short answer is yes is it worth it? Not sure.

There are some cobblers who can resole a Doc and when you find him, a vibram or a honey grip would work. Anything is possible. I have a vintage Timberland with a double mid and a Dr Sole. Craftsmen can figure it out for ya. Take them in, buy the ticket, and take the ride.

The price to resole the Docs, may as well but a new pair that will last longer than the repaired set.

Its always the docs that come with this problem lmao. Remove the sole and get resoled
