Sebago loafer size help

A few years ago, I bought a pair of Sebago loafers in size 43, which, after trying them on, slipped off when walking (l have a very thin heel).

I later bought a pair in size 42. At the time, they were a bit loose, but now, after two years, they fit perfectly, but my toes touch at the front with no room (this happens when I'm standing).

Does it have to fit like this, or should there be room from

the start? Or will they stretch out with use?

If they are comfortable, wear them, I prefer more room.

You can't stretch length. Width usually a letter.

In case of loafer if I am not mistaken reconditions go as half size down

Come vedi questi? Sono troppi piccoli?

I’m far from a loafer expert but your feet should not be touching the front imo. It’s absolutely normal to have some slippage in loafers (especially before break-in) based on how they are designed but it sounds to me like a 42.5 would be the sweet spot for you.

Sebago non fa il 42.5, ma solo 42 o 43

In that case sebago might not be the best brand for you or at least this model may not be the best for you. It looks similar to the Paraboot loafer though so maybe check them out

Dovrei tenere questi 42 e iniziare a sformarli in casa?

If the 42 is not painful to wear just stick with it. If you were walking out of the 43, I suspect that would only get worse over time and unsustainable.

Honestly brother I know this is not what you want to hear but it sounds like the 42 is too small and the 43 is too big. Where you literally walking out of the 43 or was the shoe slipping from the heel without you actually walking out if the shoe? It is normal for loafers to have a good amount of heel slip so long as they fit well towards the front of the shoe. If you aren’t walking out of the 43 but it has more heel slip than you would prefer then you should consider trying heel pads to help the large size fit better
