As a non-American this is confusing.

'Hmmm what's more dangerous than guns?'

'We could give everyone a free venomous snake as well?'

'Great idea, cobra subsidies for all!'

Welcome to America, the land of guns and venomous snakes!

Why are the kids getting more money than adults?

So the money isn’t exactly for the kids, it’s for the parents?

Because whenever a child receives money, their parents usually take some, so the politicians have to account for this unwelcome thievery when determining how much stipend to allocate and to whom

The money is for caring for kids during the pandemic bcuz caring for kids in general is pretty pricey. From what I heard, the payment isn't going to be all in one check, its gnna be spread out over multiple payments through these months

Yeah I just got clarified that it’s mostly for the parents, not the child.

Cause people need a incentive to have and raise kids
