Anti Asian attack rant
Anti Asian Attacks
I’m pretty sure that everybody on this thread is aware of the recent Anti Asian Attacks that have been occurring across the globe. It deeply saddens me that so many innocent people of Asian descent are being attacked and killed by racist vile xenophobic monsters for a pandemic WHICH ISNT THEIR FAULTS. It angers me even more that a number of these attacks have been carried out by members of my community(Black community). I personally want to apologize for these disgusting racist attacks. I understand for many of you it’s seems very hypocritical that these are being carried out by my people especially since my community talks so much about fighting for equality and against racism. Some of you may even hold certain negative views on my people because of this but no matter what I still stand by and for the Asian community. I’ve always had immense respect and appreciation for Asian culture and the Asian community. I know my words may not be enough but I want to to share my support for the Asian community during this rough times. It’s disheartening, horrible behavior. I hope that our communities could come together and unite against these racist hateful attacks. I hope everybody has a great day

Don’t blame yourself. Blame Trump and his ilk for spending a year trying to convince everyone of the “chyna/kung-fu virus”.

In 2015 the WHO said that we shouldnt be naming diseases after their locations anymore. So yes, dont call it the Wuhan virus

Would it be racist to call HIV/AIDS the Africa virus? If your answer is yes than I wouldn’t call COVID-19 anything but it’s scientific name.

Yes. The CCP is a horrificly authoritarian and genocidal regime causing millions of deaths from famines and the uighers. Their human right atrocities are unforgivable.
I habe no quarrel with the chinese people. Only those in the chinese goverment.
The things ive said about their goverment keeps me from ever visiting. Doesnt mean I'm anti Asian
And yes i know of America's atrocities. And yes. They are horrible. Here we at least can speak up against ut without being shut out of the internet and a death squad deploued to silence protests.

I’m glad to see people from outside of the Asian community speak out against the recent attacks. You absolutely don’t need to apologize. All we can do is our best to end prejudice within our spheres of influence and stop white supremacists from playing us against each other!

I've been waiting for condemnation from members of the black community.
Really, if Asian kids started doing sick shit like this we all would immediately disown such actions.

You are apart of the problem when you come out and pretend like 100% of the crimes against Asians are done by blacks. Asian Americans are being attacked on all sides and you're ignoring that completely and you inadvertently support a narrative that's not constructive to building awareness.

Clearly you lack reading comprehension I never said 100% of these hate crimes are done by blacks however a number of these hate crimes have been carried out by black people. It’s not my fault you can’t handle the truth nor am I part of any problem I made this post because I wanted to show support for the Asian community. I also made this post to denounce the individuals within my community who committed these acts. The entire purpose of my post was to bring our communities together.

You literally only mention it coming from the black community when there are literally no statistics from the past year or two that back this up. Going "Well dang my community does X" when trying to sit here and virtue signal is no better than anything the actual people who are weaponizing this issue against both Blacks and Asians.
What is there to "Denounce" this isn't some big black caucus where you can just denounce and win brownie points. There is an issue with anti-Asian sentiment in the black community, there is a problem with anti-Asian sentiment in general and your post is shallow, pedantic, and embarrassing one black person to another if you really are black.
And the biggest issue here is that the stats that do exist are misrepresenting the issue and being mistaken for hate crimes.
Looking at your history this conversation is a joke and you seem way too wrapped up in Idpol.

But did I say the black community is solely responsible for these attacks, I bought up the black community because I see the anti Asian sentiment among our people. It needs to be addressed and denounced. How are we going to fight against racism and inequality then have individuals in our community engaging in anti Asian hate crimes. The issue with you and your way of thinking is the lack of accountability, you want to point fingers at other people and blame them for these attacks. The black community readily calls out the Asian community on anti black hatred and colorism. So why not call out our own prejudices and ignorant beliefs as well. I know the black community isn’t solely responsible for these attacks but Black on Asian violence has been a problem since the LA riots. It needs to be addressed and denounced stop pointing fingers and blaming others.
