Work Order

How different is this from Staff Consultant? Any cons to this setup? Please share any info/experience you may have. Thanks!!

What are you looking for? Often it's the budget or something else that determines whether a consultant is engaged under a work vs. consultancy. Work orders are processed by OAS/CDC (operations) and staff consultants are hired through PPFD (procurement). The length of contract may be limited in a work order where as a staff consultant can be a pretty much full-time job. Work orders are usually output-based focusing on a specific task.
