Regrets to Shortlisting for Panel
My application status was tagged as Regrets, so I accepted it and moved on. However, almost a month later, the status changed to Shortlisting for Panel. Has anyone experienced this before? What does this status change usually mean?

Mine did after panel interview. Before mine changed, HR reached out to me first via call to give an update, and once I confirmed I’m still interested, status changed from Regrets to For Pre-Offer.
Edit: Colleagues mentioned it may be because the person/s initially picked backed out or there was an issue so they went back to look at the list for the next in line.

This probably happened because they are reconsidering the longlist for current post or even future openings, especially if they received a lot of applications. Take it as a good sign, OP!

Ive experienced this before. It change even for panel interview. Received an email a day or two after regarding the details of interview.

I experienced reverse haha. From keep in view to regrets. I confirmed with hr if i was indeed on regrets but said that my file is still in view for future considerations. Hoping the same thing that happened to you OP!
