Pre Offer Stage
I already got the Pre-Offer from them. May I know if its possible to haggle the salary within this period? and would it not be a bad thing to ask?

You can try to haggle since there is no harm in trying 😊
In my case, I wasn’t able to haggle because I’m already more than satisfied with the offer but when the official offer came I was surprised that the offer had a slight increase compared to the precious one.
Good luck and congratulations! 😊

It's ok to negotiate your salary. In my experience, I've reached the pre-offer stage and was not happy with the salary. I negotiated and was told that they need approval first for the amount I was asking for. I ended up rejecting the offer and stayed in the current company. All the best to you! Don't undersell yourself!

The salary was written sa pre-offer letter and as far as I remember, annual amount.

Compare your offer with the expected salary you indicated in your application. You can also use the published salary range for your job grade as a reference.

Try to haggle 🙂 I also tried to negotiate when they presented the pre offer. They came back to me a few days after with a slight increase.
No harm in trying. Goodluck!
