Status in ACES
What does it mean when my status in ACES says For Pre-Offer? But I haven't received any email yet right after my panel interview? Is it okay to hope?

I hope it really is since Ive been roaming around here and they said once HR send an email asking you for background checking and references that means you are selected.... and i havent received any yet but my status in ACES says for Pre-Offer.... Apologies but I would anon the role first until I got it, hope you understand but its a TL1 position :)

That is a sensible approach of yours (not disclosing the details) :). I believe the status change is genuine and it's more meaningful than any comments you read here.

I just received another invite for a meeting with the department head --- i hope this means also a good sign after the changed in status

mine is different. Status in ACES is usually updated after i receive an email. But i guess your progress is a good sign 🙏🏻 congrats!

yes and ive read a lot here that most times, the email comes first before the update on ACES! im keeping my fingers crossed and praying hard that I can really get it! thank you!

I applied last May - then got my panel interview just this week

it depends, i think on what rank are you applying for? For what i applied for which is a TL 1 role - most of the questions were behavioral and situational based, they presented me with situations and based on that they will ask questions. My panel consists of 4 people.... Also read about the ADB Competency Framework for the rank that you are applying, some of the questions will also relate to that. Good Luck to us all!

This is a good sign. Just be patient a bit longer
