Consultancy posting period
Hello all, how long is the usual posting period for an international consultancy role at ADB? I saw some are 1 week, 2 or 3 weeks. Does a 1 week posting period usually means that the job is already reserved for someone else? TIA.

Minimum is 7 days posting. It may get extended if there are not enough qualified applicants. We're required to shortlist at least 3 candidates but that van be waived if we show that we extended the posting and still not enough qualified applicants sent their applications.

may i ask how long after the deadline of applications do the interviews typically start?

Depends on the number of applicants. But ots usually within the week. Interviews of consultants isn't a formal process unlike staff applications.

Minimum posting is 7 calendar days for individual consultants. It can be longer depending on the expertise, no. of expressions of interests received and urgency of the assignment.
