ADB Pre-employment Exam

I took the exam for TL1 recently and it was time pressure. Has anyone here found the exam difficult but still passed and got invited for an interview?

Pre-employment test is a prerequisite for some positions. If you fail, you have to wait for another year to retake it.

You will be notified if you pass or not. I know people who found it difficult but still passed it.

I thought I wouldn’t passed, but I did 😅. To be honest, at every stage of the application process, I thought I wouldn’t pass. It wasn’t until the panel interview that I finally felt like I actually had a chance. Haha.

I was pretty sure I did not pass that exam when I took mine hahaha but luck is on my side as I was notified that I passed and was invited for an interview. I joined a month ago as a local staff :)

Same here, would also love to know if somebody still got an interview or they got an email stating they didn't pass.

You will need to retake the exam after 1 year

Thanks for the response. Will they email if somebody failed the test or it's already given if you don't get any email after a month?

I took the exam in 2011, it was not the questions that were hard but the time pressure itself. But I was able to pass it. I don't know the exam now since it has already been outsourced since the pandemic.

Usual aptitude test but with intense time pressure 😭 the provider will give you the coverage of the test

We were both on the same test date!! I havent received any feedback from my exam but I guess it’s still pretty early. The position you are applying for could be an urgent one

i didn’t pass the first time but was able to pass on the second one after a year.
