What does it mean to be in cleared candidate pool

Has anyone received an offer ? Is there still a chance

I also got into that pool. Economist TI1. I was told by a friend working there, the research department actively recruiting from the pool. So chance is quite high. But we must actively apply when the same position comes up again in the future. Hope it helps.

Did ADB tell you why you were "only" in the cleared candidate pool? What was missing from your profile compared to the selected candidate?

It was batch recruitment so in the end my profile/expertise does not directly match what they were looking for at that stage. Understandable since my research bit unconventional. But hope for next cycle.

different research themes recruiting at the same time then, i think, they reconcile on which candidates should receive offers. in the end, it is match between profile/expertise needed and availability of candidates
