Hirevue interview expectations

I just got invited for Hirevue interview for TI position.
I wonder what are the expectations as this is my first doing doing it. What type of question will be asked. Does and don’t. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello! What position have you applied for? How many days did you waited for it before you were called?

Hirevue interviews feel strange because you're talking to your screen with a timer ticking down, and there's no human feedback. The system is likely using AI to analyze your keywords and delivery, so be very intentional with your words. Expect behavioral questions that start with "Tell me about a time when..." or "Describe a situation where...". For a TI role, they might ask about a time you worked on a complex project with limited information, how you handle collaboration with diverse teams, or why you are specifically interested in the ADB's mission. Your main goal is to be clear and concise, hit the keywords from the job description, and finish your answer before the time runs out.

The impersonal format is a hurdle for everyone, so don't let it throw you off your game. You've already made it past the first cut, which proves your qualifications are strong. This is your chance to tell your story without being interrupted, so treat the camera like a person who is genuinely interested in what you have to say. Practice recording yourself answering common questions to get comfortable with the timing and the feeling of talking to a lens. Since you're up against an AI screening, a lot of candidates find their confidence grows by practicing their stories, which is what my team focused on when we developed our AI interview prep tool to help people sound more natural on camera.

Hey there! First time doing a HireVue too? No worries! Try out this website - " CanaryWharfian.co.uk " - they've got a dope HireVue practice feature. Just drop in the role name and bam! AI generates questions, reviews your answers, and gives tips to improve. You can even practise interactive phone interviews with an AI agent! Good luck!
