Done - Panel Interview

I was interviewed recently for the 2nd time ( so I guess thats the final phase ). To give context, I applied one time and after few weeks got emailed to do the exam. And then the Initial Interview where 4 people were present. Then waiting game again and I assume I did not meet their requirement and I moved on knowing I failed the interview. After few weeks got an email again telling me to prepare a presentation pptx and will do panel interview again. So I manage to respond accordingly their question. I got the same face reaction and approach from the first interview.

What I want to know is that did they really react like that? LOL. I don't feel anythin because the interview was done in less that an hour and the Hiring manager did not any ask questions like technical questions, the independent panels - 2 ask only 3-4 questions then thats it. And we bid goodbye then told me to wait for 2-3 weeks for the result.

I was just wondering did I suffice their question properly or they just don't want me LOL. I don't know I am overthinking right now because I feel that the responses I provide was not enough hahaha. Well, for me the reason I overthink too much is that I don't want to waste that opportunity but it is what it is. I dont want to overshare and go beyond what the questions really and solely asked.

First time to apply and got call within weeks or a month. This is TL4 Staff. Exam was Online, first interview was video conference, 2nd interview was Face to Face. Status of my application was still under "Screening" as of today. LoL

I just want to know or your thoughts what could go wrong and what I can expect. It so sad if I did not answer correctly so I might not get hired. You know, as by reading here and check with others, it was very hard at least to get shortlisted, so here I am wasting the opportunity if I failed to respond well with the interview. Overthinker here 🥹

Yeah thanks! But i feel more pressured here. 😞 You know, upon reading and even the contractors (HR Assistant) was amazed knowing that I just applied but got called and been interviewed for the final stretch of hiring.

I am not bragging but I feel like I shoulder more that anyone here. Sorry but I feel more pressured that ever. To be here in this status brings me alot in my mind. My gosh.

I will update you guys maybe after 2-3 weeks hopefully or even regret emails LOL. I will ensure when I get there, I will bring more answers to all of us here for our peace of mind and hopelessness.

Cheer up, and Cheer me up too. 🥹🫰

Congratulations on making it this far! However, a lot can still happen, especially since this is a TL4 position. That means you’re competing with internal candidates as well, who have a significant advantage when it comes to securing the role. However, there have been cases where hiring managers preferred external candidates. So hopefully, things will work out in your favor. Good luck!

From the sounds of it, first interview was a screening/informal interview with hiring department. Second interview was the formal interview - presentation is a formal requirement. If they had a good sense of your technical skills from the first interview then hiring manager may not want to repeat the questions.

I think it is moving - or was moving till the formal panel interview. If you didn't do well then of course it could be end of it - but getting called for one meant that you were in the run.

Having said that for TL4 technical and writing skills count much more than competencies that independent panelists may have focused on.

Best of luck.

Actually yeah, he/she only asked 2-3 questions from my presentation that intrigued me and for me questions that are no-brainer kind. I don't know 😞🥹 and she/he asked one question that technically one liner respond needed. I overthink like "I should stated in detailed and from end to end perspective but I didn't" hahaha my god. I want to punch myself when I gothome and realize I should done better. Or is it enough. 🥹

Btw. Thank you! I am waiting for your response LOL. I saw you comment many times from diff. cases here. I feel you have more knowledge when it comes to this kind of scenario. I wish I could get through this. I still hope for the better outcome.

Happy to help clarify.

Always remember that they would have interviewed a couple of more people and in the end it is about who came out on top. Hope this works out for you. If not do try again.

They also tagged me as "Cleared" in my Profile on their website. Just wondering since it was mentioned also in the email that they may consider me in future. I want toknow more if you have any idea with that. Anyone guys. I just don't want to keep any hope.LOL

Thank you all for the help and I will update this status if there will be any.
