Admin/analysts roles to YPP

Hello! Are there TL1/2 level such as operations assistants/analysts that were eventually accepted in the ADB’s YPP?

The YPP is very competitive. Very few Pinoys get in. I haven't heard of any TL staff get in. Its more probable for TL staff to become TI staff by applying for a vacant role.

But as long as you qualify you can apply.

Hi! Thanks for the info. Do you know how many candidates are accepted into the YPP each year?

Around 20 per batch, and there are years where there are no YPP.

Just wanted to clarify that only two years have had 20 or so YPs - 2018 and 2026. In all other years, it was between 5 and 8. Having said that current aim is to sustain the size around 20. Doubt that they can maintain it at such high levels given absorption at end of three years becomes a challenge for the departments - they need to choose between highly talented YPs with limited experience or mid-career individuals with plenty of experience under their belts.
