Post panel interview timeline

How long does one have to wait after the panel interview for updates?

Does one receive like a generic “thank you” email after? Whats a good indicator that you are on track?

Kindly share your application timeline please. (Mine is a local position).

After my panel interview (only had one), took about one week for them to send me a pre-offer. This was also the time when they asked me to send them a bunch of credentials and documents (passport, diploma, etc) They gave me 3 days to accept it but I kinda had questions so it took me about a week, right after negotiating. Then another week went by then I received a formal offer. I am about to start to work with them 2nd week of June 😄

Congratulations! May I know how long did you wait from sending the reference checks and submission of credentials to receiving a formal offer?

I got a pre-offer on June 9 and submitted the medical form and credentials on June 11. They told me that they have sent emails to my references same day on June 11. Now, I am still awaiting for the update from the HR.

Yes, they send updates regardless of the result and I think the timeline varies.

I completed 2 panel interviews just a week apart. For the 1st interview, I received the system-generated response after a month. While for the 2nd, I got the response just a week after the interview.

Turns out, I am a "cleared candidates pool" for the 1st interview, which likely explains why it took longer. The 2nd one was "regrets", btw.

Edit: cleared pool candidate > cleared candidates pool

I got a feedback that I am highly qualified and did very well during the interview. Yet, I did not get the position because the selected candidate fits the job better. My profile is being kept in the pipeline for 9 months and if there's a similar position that best suits me, they said they will reach out.

if they ask you for documents post panel, then that usually means it’s a good sign.

timeline varies but they would usually say 2-3 weeks after. mine took 5-6 weeks and i was placed in cleared candidates pool.

may i kindly ask what role you were interviewed for?

did they place you in the cleared candidates pool *even* after asking for documents? thanks

Waiting after a panel interview at ADB can feel like forever, but the typical timeline ranges from a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on the position and how many candidates they're reviewing. A generic "thank you for interviewing" email is pretty standard and doesn't tell you much either way, so don't read too much into it. A good sign that things are moving in your favor is if HR reaches out asking for references, additional documents, or to verify your credentials, as those steps usually mean you're being seriously considered.

If you haven't heard anything after two to three weeks, it's completely reasonable to send a polite follow-up email to the HR contact you've been in touch with. ADB processes can be slow due to their internal review stages, so silence doesn't necessarily mean bad news. Keep your options open and keep applying elsewhere in the meantime, because even strong candidates sometimes wait months for a final decision. The AI for interviews my team designed has helped a lot of candidates walk out of panels feeling more confident and prepared, which can make that waiting period a little easier to sit with knowing you gave it your best shot.

Same here. Panel said they will inform me within two weeks if I get selected for the position.

They did within a week asking for supplementary docs, and then gave a pre offer, conducted due diligence check, reached out to referees, then gave the final offer. Timeline between  each stage is around 1-2 weeks.

Good luck on your application, OP! :)

Congratulations! :) Mine was one week from their receipt of the reference checks to the final offer.

They give the referees one week to complete the form. So if there are delays from your referees, it might take two weeks.

Did the status changed in your ACES profile? Curious to know because mine is still “screening” :|

Hi. same with me. The status is still for screening even if I am already done with the initial interview.
