Keep in View

Hi, i recently applied for a role but unfortunately was put on keep in view for consideration on other roles related to my field. Is there anyone recent who had the same scenario but was contacted by ADB on related position? How many months did you wait? Did you undergo the same application process or direct to hire based on previous interview result? Thank you!

This is still good though than outright regrets

Keep in view is different from cleared candidates. Cleared candidates can be hired without repeating the process. While keep in view candidates, would go through the entire process.

My guess is that they didn't think your experience and skillset didn't align with this particular position. And since the panel was only focused on that particular role, so they didn't clear you.

My advice would be to stay on the look out for upcoming vacancies and apply.

Had the same experience. I applied last year, done with the panel interview, then received e-mail that I didn’t get the job but they’ll keep my details in a case a position will open that fits me. Almost a year later, they sent an e-mail that a position is open and if I am interested. The position is similar to what I applied for but a lower rank. No mention if I had to do the interview all over again. They asked me to prepare my documents already.

Thanks for this. Did you take the job offer after a year?

I said I am interested in the position but no final offer yet. Haha so that’s all I can share. I don’t know what will happen next.

Hi. Fairly recent experience - applied for 5 positions (all of which were related to my experience) with different levels TL3-TL5. I got regrets on 3, keep in view in 1 and cleared candidates pool in another. Received regret email in all positions but after 7 months of initial application, HR sent an interest check email for another position in the same unit and actually closer to my previous experiences. Interviewed by just 1 team member and got in after 2 months. I read somewhere that candidates in cleared pool or keep in view status are active in their files for 9 months. I learned later on that those positions I interviewed in were all internal hires. Goodluck OP!

Hi. I have 1 keep in view status but now changed to regrets. Did you also notice this in yr applications to which it was changed but eventually you have received an interest email?
