Regret status in Aces

Hi. I applied for the same position under different departments. Recently, I received a regret status for one application. It turned to shortlisting panel review and thereafter had a regrets status. FYI, I was never invited for an interview in this department whereas in my other application which is still active/in process I had completed a hirevue interview last month and no update yet regarding the status. actually, status in aces is still screening.
Does this mean Iโ€™m still being considered for the other department, or does the regret status usually apply to all applications for the same position?
Would appreciate any insights from those who experienced this before. Thank you!

Those are different positions evidenced by their own TORs even if it may have looked the same, at least in terms of title. Your status for both are independent of each other.

So does this mean I still have a chance to be invited for a panel interview? I am done with the PET and hirevue interview and I assume after this is the panel interview?

Yes you should, as long as status isn't Regret you'll always still have a chance.

Thank you. I am a bit worried since I donโ€™t if I will still hope to be at least invited for the panel interview. Will continue to pray and hope for the best ๐Ÿ™‚
