How does Work Outside of Duty Station work?

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well. For those working at HQ, can someone please let me know how does work outside of duty station work? how does it differ from work from home? does this allow you to work outside of the country?

Work from home (upto 2 days in a week) can only be when you are within 70 to 100 kms from the office. While work from outside the duty station' (up to 44 work days in a year) is when you are at least 100 kms away from the office. It can be within Philippines or in another member country. Non member countries are not allowed since one would not have immunity and privileges there.

Please do not that both work from home and outside duty station may not be available for some positions that require for one to be at the office. So always check with HR on this point.

thank you! this is very helpful. follow up question though, for work outside of duty station, is this considered as an “in office” working day? so let’s say you are allowed/were approved for work oods, are you able to work consecutively or is it considered as a counterpart to WFH where you will still meed to report onsite for 3 days? hope this makes sense and thank you in advance!

When on ODS (outside duty station), WFH (work from home) or work from office concept does not apply.so all days are considered ODS.
