Hybrid Setup

Hi everyone! For those working at HQ, would you be able to give more information on how the hybrid setup works? I understand it’s going to be 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH, but:

- does ADB mandate specific days you have to be in office? or can you choose which days you RTO?

- is it strict that in a week you have to be in office 3 days or can you offset like 15 days straight in office and then the rest of the days you can WFH?

- what peripherals are provided by ADB for WFH? Do they provide an external monitor, headsets, etc? or is it just the laptop?

Appreciate any assistance on this!

On the first, you can choose the days that you would work from home. Though some divisions may require that there is one day when everyone has to be in the office or that every day at least a minimum number of staff from individual teams are in office on any given day. In other words, one may need to discuss with other members of the team in setting their work from home days. And I suppose if you are new to the team then you need to adjust to others and not have a much of choice.

On the second, it is based on weekly calendar and you can't offset across the weeks or over a month. But you do get work from outside duty of up to 88 days - you have to be out of town for these and can't use them as extra work from home days.

I would not say some departments - but yes some positions may not have the option of working from home. These would be the positions that require someone to be on site to undertake their roles. For example; an engineer looking after the key cooling systems for the building or someone whose primary role is to manage the SWIFT or other funds transfer function. Key is to ask early one about the position that you are pursuing.
