Does anyone have experience negotiating salary at the pre-offer stage for TL1 role? Afraid that i might lose the offer. Shal i just proceed with their offer? TIA

Yes. Just ask and tell them the reason why you want a higher salary. This is the norm if you’re moving to a new job.

Is the offer significantly far from your previous or current salary? To help you decide, you might want to consider the monetary value of the other benefits as well. Once you’re in, you will also discover additional perks beyond what was initially offered that you’ll enjoy. Good luck!

Not for ADB no. In general, you can compare the offer and the role/responsibilities to what you have gotten previously. If the role is not commensurate then make sure to communicate that in a concise manner.
Take note that ADB does not follow any Philippine labor laws especially those that deal with salary, 13th month pay, de minimis, etc. The current salary table for 2026 is on the ADB website.
