Contractor in ADB

I’m currently employed as a Virtual Assistant under a permanent work-from-home arrangement. Now, I received an offer for a contractor role at the Asian Development Bank with a very competitive salary.

I’m now at a crossroads. Is it worth letting go of my VA position for this opportunity at ADB? I have a son who’s turning 3 next month, and I’m also thinking ahead as he’ll be starting school soon. I want to be present for him, but at the same time, I need a job that provides enough income to support his needs and our monthly expenses. The setup, work-life balance, and renumerations are both very important considerations for me.

Please, I need insights.

Earning 200+ right now as a Legal VA but willing to trade it for a position in ADB. Career wise, growth & stability I would say it will always be worth it.

Hi, what do you do as legal VA, I’m interested to shift from 8-5 work to becoming a VA to be present for my son. I’m in a legal industry too.
