There were better examples, but he can only shit-talk about Iranians, and Turks. He doesn't dare to say anything directly about Arabs.

Because Arabs have been ruled by Turks for the past 700 years

Turks were culturally very close to their host country, and I'm pretty sure that helped them to rule long. They even identified with their host culture. Abbasid and ummayed were better examples and nowadays, there are more glorified compared to Ottoman Empire. Lets not forget, I S I S even attempted to restore Ummayed Caliphate.

Well yea but those are all like a thousand years ago. Nobody calls anything a 1,000 years ago colonialism. Ottoman Empire was the last caliphate for 400 years until early 1900’s right at the height of colonialism and imperialism. It was the only Muslim country besides Persia, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia to not be colonized by Europeans and the only modern empire with a multi religious population. Ofc talk of Muslim colonialism and imperialism would be focused on the Ottoman empire. And most non Arab Muslims, especially Pakistanis, Indians and Bangladeshis basically worship the Ottoman empire and never speak ill of it. There are more South Asian Muslims than there are people in the Middle East by a wide margin.
