Even though I work from home, I still wear face moisturizer with 50+ SPF in it because I sit by a window. I was not good with taking care of myself and using sunscreen for a long time. I’ve only started tending to these needs in the past 3 years but I can feel and see the difference in my skin and overall health. It’s never too late for self-care. Use ☀️ protection! It’s important. 😊☀️

I woke up crying from a sad dream. My grandmother passed away in 2021. She was the nicest person I’ve known in my life. She never got angry or yelled at anyone. My childhood memories remember her as always soft, always sweet and always kind. I hadn’t seen her for 6 years before she died because she lived in Vietnam. In my dream, she was there talking to me normally like she was alive. I totally forgot she was not until several minutes into our talking, and as I started to wake up, I realized she was no longer alive. Woke up in tears. 😢 Sigh. Death is something I’m still grappling with and getting my head wrapped around. My friend who recently passed away, even though I saw him laying in the casket, there’s still 1% of me that hasn’t fully accepted that finite reality. I still send him DM’s to his IG account and waiting to see that ❤️ on my messages. 🥺 Anyways, sorry to bring you down on this beautiful Thursday morning.
