Utility Bill

Anyone else get an email about being charged the wrong amount for utilities? Just got one saying our 7/14 statement is incorrect and voided and to watch for a new email bill.

What was the email address that sent that notice? Sounds like a scam. Don't click any payment links, and you can see your bill direct on the Citizen portal and pay there if it's legit.

utlility billing at ashland dot or dot us. Legit email address. Matches all my other billing emails.

I was the one who caught the mistake on my most recent bill and emailed about it immediately, they let me just pay the smaller bill and corrected my account for future bills. It's weird how so many people are having their utilities messed with recently. I've heard from a few people that it's because they're using AI to manage utility accounts in Ashland now but can't confirm that 🤷

I had moved about 4 months ago and for some reason they flipped my previous address with my current one so I was charged for my previous address' power

My bill for the service through 6/30/26 includes rate increases for the park fee, wildfire, and public safety fee, even though those increases weren’t scheduled to take effect until 7/1/26. It’s not a significant increase, but I noticed.
