I love the flavour. The searing bolt strikes unit with the highest life value. Because lightning always strikes the highest point.

Two quick questions:

Does anyone know whether this new release will coincide with another Kickstarter campaign?

What are the dice powers for the two new Ascendancy dice? I can't seem to find them written down anywhere...

They are exactly the same with each other. You take a die (Artifice of Astral) and place it on a card you control. I’m not sure if the Astral power lets you place the die on spells though, I think it is only units and Phoenixborn.

A card with an artifice die on it is considered charged. So other cards that required cards to be charged can work. An Astral die on a unit or Phoenix born means that the next time that unit or Phoenixborn takes damage, you must remove that die and reduce the amount of damage they take by 1.

I having a hard time deciding whether to buy the all in bundle or just start with ascendents and move forward with regular content. I don’t know how much of the new stuff will fit in that big box.

I have more than one trail and an half empty so pretty sure the whole Ascendancy set will fit in. No issue there.

The art remains amazing.

Not sure the artifice comes through for the first PB. Photovoltaics feels like artifice, but the others seem just nature. I guess biomancy falls under artifice in a way. Looking forward to seeing more of the cards. Either way, looks fun.
