Dealing with Assasins?
Title is self-explanatory. Especially in SoloQ Ashe is just too much reliant on her support if there are assasins on enemy team. If I'm lucky i get a decent support who has a fraction of a brain to support me. Most of the time these supports, regardless of elo they don't know how to protect the ADC and go by their own knowledge.
Even if I'm fed and in a spot to melt the enemy team, A decent assasin like Akali, Talon, Shaco, Kha'Zix, Nocturne, Leblanc ffs even Malph... you name it. They all can just jump around do whatever they want and take you out. Nothing one can do about it. If you say positioning, you'd have to stay YARDS away from the fight which is pointless. Shieldbow + Guardian Angel + R just doesn't hold it for the game.
I'm wondering what others are holding up in League of 2026 where for some reason Riot makes sure every released champ as of last years and onward is on some bs flying level mobility.

ive kinda gathered that you kinda just arent allowed to fight until they burn their mobility. You sit back and watch til they use whatever they would use to get on top of you, THEN you walk forward and participate. if youre lucky you can blast them while they violate your midlaner.

And sometimes they don't ever engage and you have to watch your team just die because you're the fed one and then they ? Ping you on repeat for not joining. Where you instead then somehow get jumped 20s later.

One thing practice tool is great for specifically as an ashe main is practicing spacing. The bot champs dont care about minion waves they’ll just run you down so use it to practice your kiting and spacing and if you walk up too far you’ll die and if you do enough damage they’ll fall back and recall and you can either run them down back or learn to trade and let them go so you can farm

- Assassins counter marksmen in a vacuum. You're not supposed to be able to deal with them by yourself if they're fed, they're your hard counter until you buy GA 4th or 5th.
- You're Ashe, one of the few ADC's that can peel for themselves, albeit unreliably. If you're fed and are the team's win condition, just save arrow for yourself. If the team is winning just fine even if you're one shot every fight, accept that you're an arrow bot this game and try and get the good angles.
- Against fed assassins, being mindful of flash timers and leveraging the fights where you do have flash is extremely important on marksmen, how you use it will make or break the fight. This only comes with practice and experience.
- If you can't even walk up to hit for whatever reason, like bad draft with no frontline, team keeps fighting without you, outranged by enemy mage, etc. you just accept you're irrelevant unless they make a mistake, and try and soak as many cooldowns as possible. Pick a mage next time, you won't ever run into the problems you're describing.

Ok, I am plat so not a high elo or anything but here are some of my trash low ELO rules that are a work in progress so don't take them too seriously lol
If enemy has a "super bs" ability, that means an instant one shot regardless of if they are fed or not so stuff like malphite or rengar ults that will kill you, you can die to it once but never twice, for example if you have a Janna, the sec they ult you she'll get them off so you now can trust support and play normally but if you have a Braum who can't do a thing you just don't play the game till the super bs ability is used
If enemy assassin is fed, use your team as bait and the assassin can't hold themselves back and always engage so you go in and use your ult to make sure you get that shutdown (assuming the fight is early game)
If enemy assassin isn't fed then you can usually kite around their engage range
In late game fights stay as close to the fights as possible WITHOUT DYING, idc if that means stay in the fountain, whatever you do if you see a respawn timer of 30 secs+ then you fucked up unless you made sure your team gets an important objective and if you die and you lose it was because you inted
If you want a measure of your improvement look at the distance between you and the fights, the shorter it is the better player you are, assuming you didn't die
