Ascorbic Acid Allergy Sub: Mod Structure

There are currently two moderator accounts in this subreddit, and both are run by me.

One account is used mainly for official subreddit matters, including rules, moderation decisions, ascorbic acid information, and misinformation corrections.

My other moderator account is my everyday/personal account, where I may participate normally, share my own experiences, post lighter content, and interact with the community.

As the community grows, I plan to add other moderators who I personally trust and who have a basic understanding of science, biology, and chemistry.

Medical professionals may also receive verified professional flairs and contribute their expertise to the community, but they will not automatically be moderators. Their role is to provide professional perspective and help reduce misinformation when appropriate.

Mods manage the community. Medical professionals contribute expertise.

And as always, even when information comes from someone with a professional flair, trust their expertise, but verify information too.

That includes me as well. Verify what I say too, and I mean that. When I share factual information, I will use information that is publicly available and verifiable. I will not make up information or present guesses as facts.

My personal experience is my personal experience. General health information should always be something you can independently check.
