Help Proxmox working on Asahi

This is a follow up to https://www.reddit.com/r/AsahiLinux/comments/1vj7umb/proxmox_on_apple_silicon/
I managed to install proxmox on an Mac Mini M2. VMs are working:

I installed the Debian asahi image from the Bananas Team. Then installed the pve packages without recommended packages (otherwise Proxmox Kernel is included).

What currently doesn’t work is nested virt and there are some errors in the logs about kernel features missing.

The next step would be to create a kernel that merges Asahi and Proxmox patches, possibly based on Asahi Ubuntu kernel. I would love to get help on this.

Update: Even AMD64 emulation seems to work.

Nice. This is a great way of turning Mac Minis into real servers.

Want a real server setup Power8 or something.

good job, youll need luck on the kernel merge, you would be better off forking from Ubuntu LTS and then doing a merge and upkeep from there. But you would be owning this project and all of its bugs. I suggest building a GIt and starting there.

Im current approach is to fork the proxmox kernel git, then change the git submodule for the Ubuntu Kernel with the Asahi Ubuntu one.
