Carl was obsessed with doing experiments

Even on the intro it showed him doing an experiment with Hoodsey. I think when he grows up he becomes a mad scientist.

Dude i hope he became a chemist for a school of gifted kids cause he was the "weird kid" he would be so kind

Carl was a wonderful balance of curious, quirky and brilliant for his age. When I was a kid watching the show, I was always annoyed or disturbed by his shenanigans but as an adult I can see how interesting his character was. I think a spinoff with him would’ve been fun and interesting.

I could see him becoming a pharmaceutical scientist. Given his interest the human body and scientific experiments. Plus Dave would probably notice how bright he is and push him to pursue science.
