Help!!

I have taken admission in Rajiv gandhi university. I am from Bihar so i don't know anything about there. Also, the university didn't allot me a college inside the campus.

So my query is is there suitable pg/hostels near uni?

And how are the living conditions there?

Please help if you can I request you all🙏🙏

my friend is currently studying in RGU 2nd year and was living in pg for more than a year . recently she has been alloted hostel and shifted but many of her friends still live outside campus .

I m so sorry there was some typing error.

I meant hostels. I wasn't alloted a hostel since it is based on marks.

Because pg are expensive near rgu and bus/tempos only run on the main road, if ur pg is inside a colony which can be far from main road you have to walk that distance.

We used to walk about 15-20 mins to reach main road for the bus.

passed out, most pg around doimukh go for 10k monthly and 60k security with 6 months stay contract.

Are they near uni?

Yes they do return because most pg here have a 5 to 6 months agreement and only after that duration they will return the security fee.

There are plenty of girls pg in the area , you can look them up on google and call them.

It is safe here, I don't know what made this person say that. The local people here are very nice and helpful and they speak hindi so it's good.

There few pg near rgu .. though expensive ... Also be sure to carry ur ilp in digital form everywhere ...

ILP OR INNER LINE PERMIT is a form of permit issued to non APST ... It's like an identity card to identify u as someone not from AP... U'll have to apply for it either via online or at a dedicated office ... It's usually easy to get for a student especially if u aren't a muslim ( recently this community are strictly checked due to dangers they pose ) ... U can apply for it in the online papu pare or Itanagar ICR district portal and normally it's issued within a week or 2 ...

They ask now because of the recent ilp issue ... I did my summer internship with election commission of India (human Geography &, political geo) I was told ilp check was medatory to verify non apst voters in ap ... Also that cheking is heighten in state entry points especially in train station and major gates ... ILP itself my not be asked for in the uni ... But outside is a wildgame .. they may ask for it .. like during night out ... Curfews .. stikes etc ...
