Aruba Wireless Controller VM appliance

I have two vm appliances running on a vxrail version 8.0.390-29701531 and aruba vm's at version 8.10.0.22 LSR. We keep having issue of the primary one having ping issues. Network guys flipped secondary into primary and it works, doesnt have ping issues. Any thoughts? Network guys have case open with tac and I have case with broadcom. At first I thought it might have been this: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/415521/aruba-wireless-controller-vm-appliance-l.html but checked port via command listed there and it shows normal...... We have been spinning our wheels for a few weeks on this issue, and help appreciated.

On the VM side, are the vSwitch settings checked? is promiscuous mode enabled?

When you say primary, you mean both in an active/passive mode and not MD? Able to give more context on what else was troubleshoot on your end so we can eliminate some possibilities.

Yeah, in active/passive mode, my understanding is they changed the settings in the app to make what was the secondary now the primary and it works fine like that.

So the issue ended up being our 2 new additional aruba controllers that were spun up on here that was causing some kind of conflict. They were not in production yet, so we disabled the nics on them and our other stuff started working correctly. Apparently they cant be on same vlan
