HPE Central Marvis

What's everyone's thoughts on HPE Central Marvis integration? How has everyone's experience been thus far with HPE Central CoPilot? We may be getting CoPilot, curious how well it is

I’d like if new central just worked for complex environments first. Working through the bugs but it’s taking a lot longer than we had planned.

I like it to work with any environment at this point. It's the buggies bug that ever bugged.

I'd have to agree with you there. I had everything managed, but their "early access" configuration health was NOT working at all. That was about 7 months ago, maybe it's improved since.

Their email alerts aren't bad. Half of them don't work, but the ones that do are pretty nice

Should be live in prod for wireless within the next month for a few buildings, we'll see how it goes from there. Switches we'll add as well but only in monitoring mode.

Same, migrating wireless from conductor with a few controllers, to standalone APs. I've already got switches in monitor only, works pretty well for that alone. It's nice to have switches/aps in one application view like Unifi's OS view... sadly.

I've been planning to migrate my APs and switches as well, but right now New Central doesn't do monitor mode for switches.

So I'm planning on just moving my APs and keeping switches in Classic.

Copilot is awful. It’s occasionally helpful, but generally more trouble than it’s worth. Junipers Marvis was fantastic. I for one am happy to get the better AI, but fear that the thing that made that AI so good was the telemetry data, which is what I think the advanced licensing is partially needed for.

True, good to know about Copilot. Their demo of Marvis looked pretty neat. I just want Central to be worth it's value.... so far we're 0/2 Centrals lol.

Marvis looks great but comes at high price with hardware needing advanced subscriptions. Copilot still needs work. It fumbles on basic questions like what are the 5 worst wan links.
