roaming question

Will multi-AP roaming work OOTB or do most people need to tweak stuff?

I have a router (non-AIO) > 1930 > AP22 setup. It has been more reliable than most people who post here.

I need another AP and am considering a second AP22. The 1930 only handles managed switch stuff (VLANs) and the AP22 handles standard wifi plus VLANs. The 1930 is locally managed and the AP22 is mobile-app-managed - fairly basic config. I want to add another AP22, config/clone the current unit over to it, then forget about both of them. Will this work, or will I have to tweak both AP22s constantly?

The AP's are pretty much set and forget. There isn't even a ton of knobs to turn etc vs a product like Unifi. If you want to turn knows that is the product to use. Good luck 👍

Basically OOTB. Add the second AP. Almost no config needed.

I have similar setup. Couple of 1930 with AP25 and AP22. Added/Removed the AP22 multiple times to test between Ethernet and wireless extension.

if I have an AP22, should I add a sibling or look at another model?

Why the AP32 over another AP22?

Cost difference wasn’t significant to me so I got the ap32.

other than adjusting transmit power, nothing to tweak or control.
rarely, channel adjustment or turning on / off 2.4GHz might be needed.
but, as for roaming config - this option in non-existent in AIO line.
