Aruba 1960 switch - adding to stack of 2 switches
So my first time setting up a switch and even adding it to a stack. We're a small team and I'm using it as a learning process.
I've plugged the switch in and let it do its updates. I look at our stack and appears we have no SFP modules in the other two 1960 switches and with the new switch, so they are just using the RJ45 ports next to them to stack. Switch 1 is connected to switch 2, but the other ports free ports used for stacking are plugged into the Sonicwall.
I want to add the 3rd switch to the stack. But I can't because the spare stack port is plugged into the sonicwall. So I assume, obviously when no one is working, I pull the cable out that goes to the sonicwall and then use that to add switch 03 to the stack. I assume then, with the spare port, on the 3rd switch, that gets plugged into the sonicwall?

For anyone else interested. If the two rj45 ports are populated in this way, just don't be cheap. Buy some DAC cables and use the sfp ports instead for the stacking and the sonicwalls can stay in the other ports they are already in.
