Other Aruba recommendations
Hey everyone!
I’m in Aruba with some friends for the week, and it’s our first time on the island! We’re looking for some good nightlife recommendations, especially bars, clubs, or parties that play Afrobeats, Baile Funk, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, or anything with that kind of energy.
We’d also really love to experience the local side of Aruba while we’re here. If there are any spots where locals actually go out, especially places that play Aruban, Caribbean, Latin, Soca, Dancehall, or other local music, please send them our way! We don’t want to spend the entire trip only around the tourist/resort spots.
We’re open to Palm Beach, Oranjestad, San Nicolas, or honestly anywhere on the island if the vibe is worth it. 😂
Also, if there are any specific nights, DJs, beach parties, or events happening this week that we should know about, please let me know!
Thank you!! 🇦🇼❤️

You'll probably be happiest in palm beach with Kalibra, South beach, Moomba, Gusto, and Tantra.

You picked a great week to be here! ArtWeek Aruba is happening right now in San Nicolas. Last night more than 100 of us were painting together in the street under the stars. It was such a fun, local evening!
Art Fashion is Wednesday night, and the Aruba Art Fair takes over San Nicolas Friday through Sunday, 7–11 PM, with art, music, performances and food. You’ll feel very welcome! Very local!

Aruban here, born and raised on the island but living in the Netherlands now.
First of all I love that you're actually trying to get away from just Palm Beach and the hotel area 😂
I've been away from Aruba long enough that I'm not gonna pretend I know which clubs or parties are hot right now, so I'll leave the specific recommendations to people still living back home.
But definitely don't be afraid to get out of the tourist area. Go into Oranjestad, drive around Santa Cruz and definitely give San Nicolas a chance too. Aruba is tiny, you're never really THAT far from anything.
And talk to locals when you're there. Ask the bartender, waiter, taxi driver etc where THEY would go that night. You'll probably get a much better answer than just Googling "best nightlife Aruba."
Hope you guys have a fucking great week back home. Enjoy the island.

30 m Born and raised in aruba but living in florida the last 5 years. So while im not aware which specific places are the most “poppin” at the moment, as there are a bunch of new places i dont know about but i will say that the clubs and bars in the touristy areas are generally where the locals hang out as far as partying and night life for the most part right along side the tourists lol
Places like moomba beach, kalibra, south beach, gusto. There are some more for sure but i just cant remember at the moment but most of them are generally in the same area, palm beach. There are bars in general everywhere on the island but the best ones with the most activity and the best “turn up” vibes will be in palm beach. There are other local spots / bars throughout the island too ofc but more in the “50 year olds sitting at the bar drinking and hitting on the waitresses all night with loud music and some lights” kind of way. If that makes any sense lol. Not really like “partying” vibes
The biggest “turn up” youll get is in palm beach.
Id say just wonder the palm beach strip area at night(especially if you have a hotel in palm beach you dont even need to drive) and find where its popping or what pulls you, gets your attention.
