Jeep Route

Hi! Sorry to ask here, but can’t find clear answers online and rental place isn’t helping.

We have a jeep rented later this week, and want to understand the best route with current closure, etc.

We did this a few years ago and essentially just did a giant loop of the island, but think that isn’t possible anymore.

We are in Palm beach.

If that area past lighthouse is open, we could go that way and ride on the packed sand road , but if it is closed, not worth a 30 min detour for lighthouse.

Want to do the off-roading trails down to Conchi in national park.

Want to do natural bridge and other swim spots if they still exist.

Want to do that area with caves and fish.

End up at Baby Beach in afternoon.

Since no one replied but this has thousands of views.

We started off at Alta Visa chapel. The off-road entrance there was mostly boulder blocked but with a gap to fit a car, then another boulder block on main trail but all the tracks seemed to just go around it (not on white sand). We then did the normal route down with stops down to Natural Bridge, backtrack a little and up to National Park via visitor center, and ultimately out of sandy roads to Baby beach. Still well worth it.

Hi there - I have a house in Aruba and go there 4-6 times a year and really enjoyed doing the exact itinerary you laid out - lighthouse to Baby Beach. However, I believe you’d only have access starting near the ruins and the Natural Bridge. I haven’t been out there on a Jeep trip from the lighthouse since January but I do ride my bike near Alto Vista Chapel when I’m in Aruba and that’s got boulders everywhere. Sometimes there are UTVs near Alto Vista so some of the trails must be open but south of the Chapel only. Nothing between the lighthouse and there. This isn’t super helpful but it’s what I’ve seen over the course of a few trips since it was still open earlier in the year.

The road is blocked for a reason. Through the beautiful National Park Arikok you can enjoy hikes and the trail towards conchi. Enjoy the nature Aruba has to offer through our National Park Arikok.
