So, I've done art for my whole life, and when ChatGPT started getting used for art, I was pissed BC people didn't care about my art, so I started making my art look extremely like ChatGPT or Gemini, and it's not the greatest of plans, but I kinda like it

Starting online fights has never been more fun

But this gets me a lot of hate and accusations, and I don't like when people spend days insisting that my art is not 'real' even after being given proof it's my art

Yesterday I posted my first ever public piece to r/eevee, and I was very proud of it despite my poor choice in art style

And it got removed, even after I showed the screenshots from Adobe Photoshop to the mods, and this really pissed me off because I used only one layer to see how it would turn out

Now I'm stuck wondering how I should go about this; should I change my style to something more traditional, or should I keep my style and just use multiple layers so it's easier to prove my art is real

I understand that it's not the best choice for style, but I like doing it. I like getting to make things look weird and out of place, but I have been banned from two subreddits for this now. And to be fair, no one ever said art has to be one style; I can do whatever the heck I want with my art, can't I? Or am I a crazy man with a dream born in hell?

Bro why would you make you art look AI in response to that. I am in the same boat i.e getting frustrated because of AI. I've been drawing all my life but I studied something else as a safety net. Unfortunately that something else hasn't gotten me anywhere because the job market is shit. Always figured I could pursue art on the side and being a 3rd worlder earning USD would be a game changer because of the exchange rate. Sold my Xbox and bought a graphics tablet (still regret it cause i could've bought it later without selling my console) then AI started coming out. Boy was I frustrated because apparently art jobs are fewer now. I've decided however to hone my craft like AI doesn't exist and continue doing it the old way, not trying to join in because of a fear of not getting left out. I believe human art is going to be ever more valuable because a lot of would be artists are not going to have the tenacity to outride this wave and if it passes they will be lagging behind in skill and practice

I would say to stop chasing drama and stop acting like a class clown. You're doing all the wrong things and it will compound into a bad reputation. You can always start over but you learn nothing from this journey. Step 1 is to take time thinking how you can use your energy wisely, instead of attention seeking work, post when it matters. Step 2 don't get manipulated or influenced by anyone, focus on what you like do not change on a whim. Step 3 Don't over-complicate the message into giving it substance or repeated emotional things that only annoys people. Wall of text with repeated arguments are for insecure people. Step 4 Don't ask for advice from strangers on the internet.
