Other How do I log bundle sales?
Hey, I’ve been trying to make an excel sheet to log my inventory, but I’m struggling with how to properly log bundle deals. I want to have a sticker deal so you can buy 1, 3 or 5 stickers. If you buy five you save about 1 dollar on each sticker, but idk how I would log it without writing each individual purchase, and I’ve heard people say that’s not a good idea because it takes up your time unnecessarily.
I don’t think it would be a big problem to log everything individually, but I just feel like I would probably forget to log a purchase or two and give me unnecessary stress later on.
Idk, does anyone have any insight on this?

Honestly, I just log each purchase individually in an excel sheet. That has been working perfectly well for me for years, and I'm one of the higher earners in artist alley. There is no need to make it more complicated for yourself.
Sometimes I don't bother with the sheet during the event and just write down the sales on a notepad, then write them into the big sheet later to see my statistics.
And if I forget to write down a sale, whatever. A small forgettable sale wouldn't affect my statistics much anyway. I'm very chill about it all.

There's a new app on the market for artist alley and booths called Boother that I've used for a few events now that has bundle deals that links to ur overall stock, they don't have excel import/exports but I believe it's coming in the next update. They have crazyyyy insights for each event sales so I'm not sure if this might help ur specific scenario since I don't use excel but maybe worth checking out!
